Putney Embankment view to Putney Bridge across the slipway to the Rowing Boathouses
 
I was inspired to paint this scene by the way the trees, the sky, the quiet road. slipway and river naturally compose themselves into a sweeping view outside the boathouses near Putney Bridge. When I walk here I can feel how much  the walkers, cyclists, sailors and rowers relish the fresh air and wide skies this open space offers. I hope you can feel it too. Happy viewing!
