New Art Tail - Winner
FURNIVAL GARDENS, TOWARDS DOVE'S PASSAGE
Artwork by Caroline Silver.
"I was transported as I descended into this narrow walkway of 18th century history. The riverfront is a retreat. Peace can be found here; a release from the tightness of the city. The mighty yet gentle meander of The Thames soothes. So much life, beauty and history to be enjoyed!"

Caroline is a winner in the search to find six artists to have their art displayed in a new, six-plaque, Art Trail that celebrates the Hammersmith Riverfront in London.
Her painting is of the view outside the house of designer William Morris and includes the view down the River Thames to Fulham Football Club. The plaque is in the popular Furnival Gardens next to the historic 18th century Doves Passage.
The Art Trail opened officially on 30 August 2023 UK with a walk of the Trail by all the artists, sponsors and organisers including Riverside Studios and reported in the H&F Newsletter here. Check out the designs she competed against in the complete Flickr gallery of art trail submissions here. Or see more photos from the trail’s official unveiling.
