A much loved walk beneath the arched Plain trees in Bishops Park at the site where the start of the Oxford and Cambridge boat race brings a frenzy of excited crowds one day a year. This particular painting was inspired by two sailing boats gently wending their way down the Thames; typical of the peace and tranquility of the other 364 days. Happy viewing!
